Toddler Rooms

Where Curiosity Starts

Exploration truly begins in the toddler rooms. A toddler’s natural curiosity compels them to enthusiastically explore their environment. Toddlers love to crawl through mazes, chase bubbles, play with water, “cook” in the kitchen - and we enable all of that to occur. We split our toddlers into two rooms at For Kids’ Sake, allowing our staff to hone in on the development of a smaller age range of children and focus on what’s most important for that time. Teacher to children ratios for our toddlers are held at an average of 1:4.

Speech Development

Communication also expands in the toddler room. Speech begins as well as other forms of nonverbal communication that express what a child wants or needs. Toddlers love to look at books, hear stories, listen to music, sing and dance. In order to learn and grow, they must be exposed to a wide variety in life while feeling safe and secure.
